Description

A green Creature from the Black Lagoon reaches above illustrated water on this Universal Monsters mug, with pink film-title lettering and “DRAGGED INTO THE WATER BY A DEMON”. It is not the usual cheerful lakeside scene.

For classic-horror fans, the design gives an ordinary drink a little creature-feature atmosphere. The familiar character can keep watch over your desk, breakfast or the interval between films while you remain comfortably away from his habitat. There is no expedition to organise and no suspicious shoreline to inspect. A mug of tea is an entirely respectable way to enjoy water from a much less alarming perspective.
